Matthew Boreen - Founder and Director of Operations

Matthew moved to the Appleton, WI area after graduating from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay with a double major in Music Performance and Computer Science in 2007. He started buying housing and fixing them up to sell to first time home buyers while working as a systems developer for a local IT company. As the owner of Real Estate Swap, Matthew oversees operations, handles marketing, takes care of programming, and continues to implement technology into different areas of real estate through the website.

In his spare time he enjoys fishing, wakeboarding, and kiteboarding during the summer. In the winter, he snowboards whenever he can get away from work. Another hobby is his jazz and classical clarinet playing, which you can see in the link below.

David Miller - Director of Development and Acquisitions

After completing a small business certificate from Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, WI in 2004, David started a construction company in the Fox Valley that specialized in remodeling old homes. Through the construction company he would buy houses and completely rehab them. He also repaired houses for other investors in the Fox Valley and learned from them how to help homeowners in any situation. His role at Real Estate Swap is to work with sellers looking to sell their homes and oversee any remodeling process a property may acquire.

In his spare time he enjoys fishing and hunting and spending time with his wonderful wife Nicole.

Below is a link of a house that he completely remodeled. It was a 3700 square foot fourplex with no garage that he purchased and decided to cut in half and turn into a 1700 square foot single family house with an attached garage. After completely remodeling this house, he was nominated and won the award for the city of Appleton's Neighborhood Improvement Award.
